It had a perfect and nice setting close enough to great restaurants, metro, aerobus and stations for Cascais & Sintra and main attraction points. There was a bathtub. Free Wi-Fi was available, terrific service. The staff were all responsive and especially helpful.

I loved that it was ideally located so close to the water front, the old Centrum, and main attraction points. Staff was very friendly, helped me with everything.

Had a very enjoyable time here, we recommend this apartment. The property was just next door to the centre, shops restaurants and metro, unbeatable and exceptionally nice location overall. Also, we truly enjoyed that it was ideally situated close to smaller supermarkets.

The room was large and airy with jam in the fridge, very nice design plus a fully equipped kitchen, pleasant to stay in. Staff were always responsive.

Rooms were very cramped.

The accommodation was excellant located adjacent to transport links, that's what I was expecting. Booked this apartment for 6 nights, they were fantastic and I strongly recommend it.

We were amazed by the excellent location of the apartment. It was so convenient to explore the city on foot and be close to all the main attractions. The apartment itself was beautifully decorated with light colors, creating a cozy and stylish atmosphere. We loved the skylight window on the roof, which provided a lovely view over the old town. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, and it was a nice touch to have some coffee, sugar, and spices available. The staff, though not present at all times, was extremely friendly and always available by phone. Despite the lack of a reception, we felt safe and secure throughout our stay. we had a fantastic experience at Madalena Hermitage and would highly recommend it to others.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city with easy access to the downtown area. It was so convenient, I could walk everywhere in my high heels. the room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. the service provided by the host was exceptional, they were very helpful and accommodating.

There was no facility to hang my clothes, which was a bit inconvenient.

The location was great, within walking distance to a historic castle and very close to Alfama, Lisbon, and Sintra.

The extras that count: The owner was delightful and knowledgeable about the area, giving great recommendations. The apartment was lovely and spacious, with added touches like complimentary cheeses and jam in the fridge. The location was also great, close to local transportation and within walking distance to key attractions.

Construction noise and lack of welcome treat: The city center was under construction, but the apartment had good soundproofing. However, if you're sensitive to bustling city life, it may not be ideal.

The location of this place is incredibly convenient as it is just a short distance away from the metro station, as well as all the attractions in Alfama and the city center.
